W...e will be following strict Hygiene practices, there will be no seating provided, and we will have safety cones in place for Social Distancing. We ask that you respect and adhere to these safety measures and if need be, feel free to bring your own hand sanitiser for your personal use. 05.01.2022 The Government has laid down some tough new guidelines and rules, which at this stage does not limit my ability to continue my services to you. I understand that it will have caused as much concern for you as it has for me. Please understand that as a small business I rely on you my wonderful clients, I will continue to work until I have no choice but to stop, but I need your support. On top of my normal hygiene guidelines that have protected your pooches for so long I have i...mplemented new routines to help keep us Hoomans safe and well, including but not limited to, disinfecting my EFTpos terminal, the trailer and myself at every house. All currently held appointments will go ahead as planned unless new rules are announced. I still require minimum 48 hours notice if you need to reschedule. As much as Ill miss our chats WE DONT EVEN HAVE TO SEE EACH OTHER, as long as I have power and water access and your pooch ready to go. In the interests of our mutual health and safety I will refrain from entering houses. If you are unwell or in Isolation, whatever the reason, please know that I am still happy to wash your bestest friend so that they may be clean and fresh for comfort and a cuddle. Just let me know when I send a reminder that you are unwell so that I may take extra precautions before, during and after the visit. I will still be taking cash payments, however please place in an envelope with your or your dogs name on it so I am able to match with the service. EFT and Direct Deposit customers will be as usual. I ask you all to respect these decisions and look forward to catching up when all this is over Thank you!

David has just been down to check it out and with more rain due tonight, it will not dry out by the morning. 01.01.2022 Some concerned people have been phoning the clinic as they have been advised to use vinegar and clove oil to fight mould. Vinegar will irritate the airways of d...ogs and cats. Cats are especially sensitive to aromatic oils such as clove oil - in fact it has been used as a repellant for cats so the smell is stressful. Animals should be removed from an environment treated for mould with these products until it has been well ventilated. Cats especially will get a burning sensation with a watery nose, sneezing, drooling and vomiting. Cats with pre-existing asthma are obviously at greater risk. An elevation of liver enzymes has reported in animals exposed to high levels of aromatic oils - they will not cause liver failure but this reflects the fact that they can be absorbed into the blood from contact with high concentrations.
