21.01.2022 Heat wave We are expected to hit some very high temps over this weekend, your pups well-being is so very important so please share this post to spread some awareness Ensure water bowls are checked regularly and freshened up. You can also add ice cubes!... have your pooch inside in a cool place where possible. If your doggo has to be outside ensure shade! Dog houses can turn into 'hot boxes' and do not allow adequate ventilation in extreme heat keep regular walks to early morning or late evening to avoid peak temps! Walking on grass is much safer than that scorching concrete do not leave your four legged pal in a car at all. Windows down or not. Signs to keep watch for- extreme panting vomitting/diarrhea disorientation discolored gums muscle tremors These are all signs of heat stroke in doggies so please seek veterinary assistance as soon as possible if you have any concerns Love to all
