18.01.2022 This is the best little invention ever! I just did today’s washing in seven minutes (2 loads) and used hardly any water! What did I wash? Chris’s shorts (heavy ones), his T-shirt, a tea towel, 3 pairs of knickers and my LSKD dress. Not a huge load of course - but super convenient and economical. This is what I will do most days unless we end up with a bit more washing and water isn’t an issue. That’s when I’ll use the washing machine in the van. 14.01.2022 NEW REELS VIDEO! What a weekend this was! We hit up the Albins ARB Goondiwindi 400 in support of Michael Zacka and the team from Mikes Shock Shop. Mike was driving and Mate Baker (The Explore Life ) was navigating Our adventures began just outside Millmerran when Chris filled our (diesel) tank with premium unleaded 5 hours later we arrived at the Goondiwindi Showgrounds where we parked our van next to Matt and Jess.... Scrutineering was that night at the Showgrounds with the Siting Lap, Prologue and Race 1 (one 80km lap) on the Saturday. That night it was Chinese for us all as Sunday was the final couple of races. What a crazy, windy, dusty, adrenaline packed weekend with some amazing people. 12.01.2022 Good morning!! I often get asked about how we do washing in the van/4x4 so I thought I’d share one of my little secrets ... the Scrubba Wash Bag! This is an amazing little Aussie invention A little bag that takes care of your washing in just a few minutes. 05.01.2022 I’ve been using my ALDI Thermal cooker for a few years now and I absolutely love it A couple of weeks ago I shared some stories where I was making the most delicious beef stroganoff and had so many requests for the recipe! It can be made in a traditional slow cooker (just throw everything in and let in bubble away) but if you don’t have access power for any reason, the thermal cooker is the way to go! ... Simply heat it on the stove, pop it in the thermal cooker and go on about your day. It’s perfect for us when travelling - it cooks while we’re in the car and when we arrive, all I have to do is dish up! I’ve been a slack-bum with getting the recipe ready ... but here it is!

03.01.2022 WHERE IS YOUR TRUCK BUILD VIDEO??? Yes, we hear you! And we feel it’s time we give you some answers. We had really hoped that by now we would have had a full Chev build/run-down video posted ... and we know you were hoping for the same thing as we get so many requests for it every day! We thought we’d better explain exactly what’s going on and why there’s no build video to be seen. It’s a pretty straightforward reason really - the truck isn’t actually finished yet. Covid ...really made this build a tricky one; parts went missing (lost at sea ), wrong parts were sent, and some parts are still on backorder with no known arrival date. So, what we have decided to do is a complete run down on the GCI Traytec canopy as this is one of the most common questions we get asked. Check our latest post for the pics and details. If you want to see this ‘in the flesh’ we will be at most of the major national 4x4 shows and some caravan shows this year (covid pending).
