24.01.2022 Healthy cattle are happy cattle. Temperament is a highly inheritable trait, which seems to be expressing very well for this yearling composite bull at Goonoo Farm

20.01.2022 Gorgeous sunset over the Kurrajong Bore Windmill

20.01.2022 National Agriculture Day recognises the hard working farmers, graziers, producers, their families and teams and everyone working in and supporting the Australian Agriculture Sector. Our 450 staff are just a small fraction of Australia’s agriculture workers, but we stand proudly alongside the more than 300,000 others employed across nearly 90,000 Australian farms. So to all the women and men who help produce Australia's food and fibre - from our staff and stations across Australia and the world - we celebrate you on #AgDayAU.

13.01.2022 A remarkable moment as the sun lights up the top of a rain cloud at Eva Downs. We continue to see some great signs of rain ahead of the coming wet season - fingers crossed it reaches those much needed areas that haven't seen it for too long.

12.01.2022 What a lovely day to check the lick blocks out at Rewan @tanya.millewski #agriculture #ag #agriculturelife #aaco #australia #australiaagricuralcompany #cattle

09.01.2022 Women play a significant and influential role across our oganisation every day, but today - on International Rural Women's Day - we celebrate them with even more enthusiasm. The women of AACo live this year's theme - 'rural women cultivating good food for all', whether it's on one of our many stations and feedlots in Australia or out in our markets around the world. We recognise their already significant role as well as the need to always do more.... #irwd2021 #women #ruralwomen #ruralwomenaus #womeninag #agriculture #equality #beefproducer #cattlecompany #agchatoz

07.01.2022 Walking a mob of cattle away on a winters afternoon, nothing beats doing what you love every day!

06.01.2022 Awesome time of year on the Barkly with storms rolling through and great to see a bit of green

06.01.2022 Our cattle share their grazing lands with many native animals, including the planigale, a tiny marsupial no longer than 8cm (3 in) and weighing as little as a teaspoon of sugar. Like all marsupials - kangaroos, koalas and wombats, included - planigale give birth to live young who then suckle in their mother’s pouch. The smallest marsupial of all, the planigale is nocturnal, sheltering in the large cracks that form in the black clay soil of the Mitchell Grass Downs of northern Australia, and emerging at night to eat insects and tiny lizards.

06.01.2022 Amazing evening light at Carrum #austagco #aaco #australianagriculturalcompany #agriculture #horses #sunset #farming

06.01.2022 It was an honour to take part in the 2020 Paddock to Palate and a very successful result for AACo, winning the class 39 Wagyu challenge. AACo finished with top honours at 95.37 points, winning in three sub classes. It was great to be a part of this event and a big congratulations to all other prize winners!

04.01.2022 Incredible capture by our very own Rebecca Parnell as a severe storm rolls past Goonoo Farm. @shaunnbecca

03.01.2022 Our Barkly Mitchell grass pastures that form the basis of our Barkly production system grow primarily on a foundation of black cracking clays. These soils have been formed over millions of years and were deposited by three key periods of what are called sea transgressions. Recent surveys have shown some of the blackest soil going around is the result of an extended wet season and a higher organic matter concentration, which forms an important part of the plants growth cycle, resulting in healthier grass which our cattle love!
