25.01.2022 We have been in Lindau, Germany for the past couple of days, exploring the nearby towns and performing for a wonderfully receptive audience in Wangen.

23.01.2022 We are on our way to Metz and stopped in Reims (Champagne) for lunch and exploring. One of Reims' most famous attractions is their Notre-Dame Cathedral. The grandeur of the inside and outside was absolutely breathtaking. Our multi-talented tour guide, Tassos, spent his time sitting in front of the Cathedral creating a wonderful watercolour painting (see photo below). And of course, some of us couldn't leave Champagne without having a glass of Champagne first!

22.01.2022 Welcome Dinner at Marco G in Rome - what a fun and wild night!

22.01.2022 A couple more informal pics from Paris.

20.01.2022 Tomorrow's concert venue: Chiesa della Pieta. Can't wait to play music by Vivaldi in the church where he worked.

20.01.2022 Hi all, Ive added our concerts as events, but the the times arent displaying correctly - probably something to do with time zones. We all know were not doing a concert at 3.30am! Times are as per the latest itinerary. Getting very excited to play in these stunningly beautiful venues. Cheers, Margaret C.

19.01.2022 Between Lindau and Innsbruck, we stopped in Füssen (a small Bavarian town) and at Neuschwanstein Castle (the castle that later inspired the design of the Disneyland castle, commissioned by King Ludwig II).

19.01.2022 For over two centuries music teachers have served the Australian community to help others express what lies within in all its forms. Now it is time for teachers to have some time just for themselves to re-explore their love of music making. Please feel free to share AUSTA's Inaugual Orchestral Tour of Europe. Some of us are already here preparing for the Tour where we will be playing in Rome, Florence, Venice, Vienna and Prague September14 - 29. If by chance you are at or kno...w anyone who is at any of the cities when we are playing, we would love to see you or a friend there! The concerts are 1 hour long and are free! We will be playing Vivaldi, Bach, Mozart, Elgar and Tchaikovsky to name a a few! Stephen Chin National President Australian Strings Association (AUSTA) See more

16.01.2022 What an amazing venue! A wonderful performance to a very appreciative audience. It was great to have supported a concert whose donations went to street children in Africa.

15.01.2022 Venice- Chiesa della Pieta- so inspiring to play in this beautiful venue. Travelling to & from the concert by boat was a novelty.
