08.01.2022 PAYG Withholding Variations for 2019/20 financial year can now be completed and lodged. Well be in contact soon to get the ball rolling! For those that dont know, if you have substantial deductions or losses to claim, the ATO allows PAYG employees to adjust the tax withheld on their wages to reflect this. The outcome of this is that the individual will receive higher cash flow during the year and a smaller tax refund at the end of the year. Therefore, the individual can use this additional cash for beneficial purposes rather than "loaning" it to the ATO for a year.
