10.01.2022 ACSA recently honoured Gordon Cherry for his service to the Australian cotton industry.Gordon has played a significant role in the Australian Cotton Shippers Association. A Founding Member when the Association was formalised in 1991, a former Chairman and long term Director, his contribution and guidance has been instrumental in ACSA’s efforts to promote and enhance the reputation of Australian cotton in the international market as well as serving the local cotton industry in building and ensuring the integrity of the Australian cotton trading platform. From the board room in Memphis to international cotton events and the multitude of buyers’ offices around the globe, Gordon has promoted Australian cotton and its attributes and we have all benefited from this as a consequence.
