22.01.2022 05 STI. The paint didn't look this good when it was new! Looks good enough to jump into and swim around on a 30 degree day.

20.01.2022 55 Buick Roadmaster. 5.4m long, 63 years old. 3 full days of paint correction topped with a ceramic coating. This is one massive car.

19.01.2022 Hilux paint is notoriously difficult to maintain. It's soft and marks easily. Black is difficult to correct on any make or model but when you can mark the paint just by touching it, the process of paint correction becomes challenging to say the least. Scratches from bush bashing on all 4 doors and rear tray had to be wet sanded they were too deep to "just buff them out". Three polishing stages followed. A heavy compounding stage to restore gloss after sanding and to remove any sanding marks and deep swirling from bad wash technique. A medium polishing stage to refine and remove marring from the heavy compounding stage and finally a light polishing stage to ensure a high gloss mirror finish. This is 5 days of painstaking restoration. A ceramic coating will help to maintain and protect it for years to come.

17.01.2022 Can you hose your car dry!! Ceramic coating repels water protecting your paint from the damage caused when water evaporates. The minerals left behind 'etch' into the clearcoat creating unsightly water spots. Message me for details and prices.

14.01.2022 Let it bleed! Iron removal always looks dramatic on a white vehicle. If you drive your car... you've got it. It comes off your brakes and everyone else's brakes. If you park next to or live close to train tracks, its rail dust. You're new BMW has it, your AMG has it. Chemical and mechanical decontamination is the only way to remove it. These tiny particles of hot iron burn into your paint leaving the surface feeling rough to touch. No amount of washing will remove it. Because its iron it rusts easily. Ever wondered what those funny orange spots are on your white car. No matter how hard you try they just won't wash off. Full decontamination wash, chemical iron removal, claybar (mechanical removal) plus a silica (glass) sealant to help protect your car for up to 6 months. Prices start at $150.

13.01.2022 Some days it's work, some days it's pure enjoyment. Genuine XB GTs don't come around very often, but when they do the world just seems like a better place. Paint runs on rear quarter panels from an old respray had to be wet sanded and re-polished. Medium cutting stage followed by a jeweling stage. They didn't look this good in 1975.

01.01.2022 Paint correction! Don't get your black car (or any car) 'polished' at the local carwash. No those crazy patterns aren't normal. The person who put them there removed a minute amount of this cars precious and limited clearcoat. Fixing it removes more. It's not a process that can be repeated too often. Get it done right. It's cheaper to replace your engine than it is to have a full respray when your clearcoat fails. Put your car in the hands of a professional not the inexperienced 'butcher of paint' at the carwash.
