20.01.2022 On Wednesday 17 June, our students got to treat themselves to a tasty Fish & Chips lunch for $5.00. A very special thank you goes to Mr and Mrs Cassey who spent the morning in preparation and cooking and the following students who assisted us to get the meals out on time, the weather was very stormy and they did a wonderful job in helping serve the food and deliver it to our students and staff!:... Rosee J, Kate C, Tallara K, Catherine Mc, Amy Mc, Chloe S, Danielle S, Kiara B, Paige E, Mia M, Cheyenne M, Ashton C, Dylan B and Jake V. All money raised went straight to our missions field in the Philippines and in total we managed to raise in excess of over $500. What an effort! We are so very blessed to be able to shine the light of Love, that is Christ and are so thankful for our school community for sharing in this passion. As you may remember, we took some of our students to this mission field during the December holidays in 2019, so to be able to continue to support our newfound friends over there means so much to us!

18.01.2022 On Monday and Wednesday this week, we saw a group of year 7, 8 and 9 students compete in both netball and soccer lightning carnivals. All the students competed with strength and perseverance all day and demonstrated a great deal of sportsmanship. A big thank you to our upper school helpers (Hannah E, Sophie S, Tamsyn L, Jack Y, Reece S, Jett S and Mason H) for coming along to assist with umpiring/coaching. Both days were a great success with our students winning many games ...and competing against some very solid competition. Above all, it was such a joy to watch them encourage each other, represent the College with pride and demonstrate respect for the officials and other teams. Well done to all involved.

15.01.2022 In the final weeks of Term 3 senior school students volunteered to give back to our community by planning and completing a project of their choice to show care for those in the school or wider community. Students cleaned up public spaces, fund-raised for Anglicare, baked food for a soup kitchen, wrote cards of thanks to volunteers and health care workers, beautified the College grounds and volunteered to help in the Primary School. It was great to see such enthusiastic involvement, to receive positive feedback and to watch students enjoy serving others. Well done to all the students involved!

10.01.2022 Last Thursday, we held a bake sale at the College, enjoyed festivities and activities all in an effort to bring awareness to mental health for RUOK Day. RUOK Day is an initiative created to break the stigma around the issues we are facing worldwide with our young people, and to say it's alright to open up and let someone know when they are feeling down. With the help of friends, family and professional support systems, we can work together to create a healthier and happier community. We are pleased to say, we raised over $480 through donations and all proceeds are going direct to AngliCare and their youth services program, which helps disadvantaged and homeless youth.
