23.01.2022 Thrilled to see our Drake House featured in the latest Home Beautiful Magazine. Be sure to grab one on your next essential shopping run. Photographed by Armelle Habib Writen by Jackie Brygel

22.01.2022 Formal sitting room in our Victorian house renovation/restoration project. Restored cornices, new paint work, floors sanded, new window coverings, new pendant light and furniture - what a difference to this once dark cluttered space! @jacksheltonphoto #victorianhouserenovation2 #sittingroom #formalsittingroom #austindesignassociates #victorianhouse #victorianhouse

21.01.2022 Indoor plants and natural materials are signature details for our design team and fortunately our clients too! So pleased with the detailing of this new entry (via the side of the house at the end of the old and the start of the new) to a Californian Bungalow. #austindesignassociates #indoorplants #timberpanelling

21.01.2022 Update to a classical style 90’s build - new paint, shutters, parquetry floors, fireplace surround, light fittings, furniture and art - all combine for a fresh take on a formal sitting and dining room ... @armellehabib #Drakerenovation #austindesignassociates #sittingroom #diningroom #renovation

18.01.2022 With a brief from our lovely clients for the living room to have the feel of an a original MCM Beaumaris house - we used split faced brick for the chimney with a floating hearth and natural oak joinery. The Togo sofa and chairs are perfect for the room... @beaumaris_modern #beaumaris #mcmbeaumaris #mcm @jacksheltonphoto

17.01.2022 Fireplace and TV - always a dilemma - how to make it work. In this project we have a floating hearth unifying the wood store, fireplace and TV (the TV is on an arm so it can be pulled forward and angled). The chimney Breast and wall have a feature concrete render. @alex_reinders #austindesignassociates #fireplace #TV #realfire

13.01.2022 Kitchen at our #portsearenovation - we designed a new kitchen in the space of the previous kitchen - with lots more storage and a butlers pantry. We used materials that suited the house and it beach location - oak, dark stained oak and practical stainless steel for the ‘work’ benches and @subzerowolfaust appliances. We softened the overall feel of the kitchen with hand made @anchorceramics splash back tiles, the ‘Portsea Grey’ marble island bench and the @articololighting lights. @jacksheltonphoto @precision.cabinets #popbuilding

13.01.2022 A renovation to a Federation home in Brighton. Our young and energetic clients wanted a fuss free home they could relax and enjoy with their young family! The Messmate timber finish in the kitchen is easy to look after with a beautiful grain and warm tones. @alex_reinders #austindesignassociates @crafted_kitchens_and_cabinets_ #kitchen #kitchendetail #brightonkitchen #timberkitchen

13.01.2022 Renovation to a 90’s build - usually we prefer the fireplace and TV side by side - but we had no choice here because of the existing window openings (and the clients are pleased)! They wanted to maintain the symmetry- we replaced original windows with steel windows and designed joinery for either side of the new fireplace, the space was painted, new oak floors replaced tiles, new furniture, lighting and artwork finish the casual living room. #Drakerenovation #austindesignassociates #livingroom @armellehabib

01.01.2022 #Drakerenovation - a makeover of a 90’s house with good bones. For the sitting room a new fireplace, limed oak parquetry floors, paint, new furniture and curtains. @armellehabib #austindesignassociates #sittingroom
