24.01.2022 Phone and video consultations have never been a more vital part of the way we care for patients than they have during COVID-19. October is Telehealth Awareness Month and thousands of Austin Health patients will receive at least part of their care at home using telehealth this month to save them coming in to hospital. Physiotherapy patient, Catherine Ringwood, had weekly consultations with her physio earlier this year using telehealth.... Being seen from the comfort of my own home saved me time and expense. "Although I did wonder what people thought when the physio was down on the floor with their legs in the air showing me how to do the different exercises!"
