23.01.2022 ‘Hold’ is the first track off my Debut EP ‘The Distance Between’. It was written about being at a point in a relationship where you know that things aren’t going to work out, but not wanting to come to terms with letting go. I wrote this song back in February of this year, and have played it at every single gig since. It’s safe to say that it is one of my favourite songs to play live. 18.01.2022 As promised earlier this week, here is another acoustic video!!! Myself and @haydencervi took a little trip out west while I was in the Sunshine Coast last month. We found this little back road right on sunset, and decided to record an acoustic version of one of my unreleased songs called ‘Hold’. 09.01.2022 This time last year I was considering quitting my solo music career. I found myself losing all enjoyment and love for playing music as a soloist. Little did I know that it was all because I was so caught up in the same routines, and that I was quickly burning myself out. I felt like I was getting no where, I had something like 300 followers on Instagram, and I found that I was doing nothing but feeling sorry for myself. I decided to take a break over January and head to Byron... Bay for a few weeks. I stumbled on a brand new music scene, and a bunch of new artists (some of which i’m lucky enough to be friends with now). I remember feeling so inspired by their songs, and for the first time ever, I felt myself being so drawn to writing and playing my own music. Fast forward nearly a whole year and here we are. 2020 has been INSANE!!! I have had the honour of sharing the stage with some truly amazing artists, and have had the opportunity to play my music in front of so many amazing crowds. I’d like to thank each and every one of you for your support and for being a part of the journey this past year. Without you guys, I wouldn’t still be here doing the one thing that I truly love. 01.01.2022 Last week I teamed up with my brother @haydencervi to bring you a little acoustic series of some of my songs. Our aim was to create a few intimate, acoustic videos in some super cool locations on the Sunshine Coast. Our first stop was this beautiful pine forest about 30 minutes west of the coast. It was there that we recorded this acoustic version of my brand new single ‘Edge of Unknown’. I hope you guys enjoy this as much as we enjoyed filming it
