17.01.2022 I’ve just said goodbye to Sue and Michael from Warrnambool. I am meeting some seriously generous and caring people as they stay at my B&B. Sue has spent 3 afternoons in my garden this week making it look absolutely superb. She’s a Nurse at the Warrnambool Hospital so she deserves a medal. Wishing Michael all the best with his health challenges and safe travels home today. Thank you two for being so friendly and Michael is the newly crowned Official Brains Trust now. He won the quiz every morning for a week. #clickforvic

13.01.2022 I’m feeling very grateful and blessed to receive a thank you bouquet of flowers from Jacob’s family near Ulverstone, Tasmania. Jacob was a fantastic young guest here who should be very proud of himself for the fine young man he is.

12.01.2022 Bron and Vyner are the Best of the Best, The guests that go above and beyond and not rest, Vyner has fixed my door, He’s fixed and mended the floor, The back doors are painted white,... The whole B&B looks a lovely sight, He’s sharpened the carving knife, Vyner has taught me new skills in my life. He’s put soap under the wooden drawers, But avoids Bobby and Snowy’s paws, He’s the Farmer of the Year, He’s got the toolbox with all the gear, Bron has been cooking up a storm, As she visits the Doctor to up her form, They are the most generous of folks, I’m so blessed to cook them egg yolks. I also cook them bacon and toast, And for our scrumptious dinner a roast. I absolutely love them to bits As Bron Smithwick loves her Fitbit. But alas, her watch band broke this morning, And now the Chinese are going to get a warning, For this is the 2nd time it’s broken, Now back to work for me to earn my dinner token.
