23.01.2022 Austinville Landcare put on a great show last weekend at their Austinville Valley Catchment Crawl 2017. Thanks to Wal, Heather and the rest of the team for the...ir superb efforts over the past 15 years, and for organising such a great tour. There are hundreds of causes and many groups and organisations that you could get involved in across the Gold Coast. Volunteers are needed for tree planting, weeding, clean ups, wildlife rescues, nursery hands, event volunteers the list goes on. To find out more - contact: http://goldcoastcatchments.org
22.01.2022 Landcare week is starting on the 7th of September!! We have a native tree planting coming up, although it may technically not be Landcare Week we would still like to celebrate it. 21.01.2022 Congratulations to Heather and Wal Mayr. They were awarded the City of Gold Coast Australia Day environment award. Conservationist, Land for Wildlife warriors, Austinville Landcarers and all round top people. Heather and Wal have spent many years restoring their property and making a difference to the valley through their Landcare efforts. We are super proud of them both. Congratulations team.

17.01.2022 A great turnout at Landcare today. We planted 1000 native trees along the creek and within ten minutes of finishing we have had some rain to give them the extra kick they will need to establish quickly. Great job team. 14.01.2022 Austinville Landcare is celebrating 10 years!! We would love to see you this Sunday at Austinville Conservation Area (cox's). We will be planting 800 trees to mark the occassion. It's also our last session until February. 621 Austinville Road from 8am-10am.
