24.01.2022 Auspire is thrilled to have two of our newest Ambassadors help us launch the call for nominations for the prestigious Community Citizen of the Year Awards presented throughout Western Australia on Australia Day. Thanks to the support of Nine Perth, Tracy Vo from 9News and Steve Mills from 6PR Breakfast will feature in this years promotional call for nominations and encourage Western Australians to nominate people or groups from their community who epitomise active citizensh...ip and Australian spirit. Were delighted to have Millsy and TVo recognise the significance of the these awards and look forward to their further involvement in joining our team of Ambassadors in sharing our message of Reflect, Respect, Celebrate in the lead up to Australia Day 2021. 24.01.2022 We are delighted to announce the appointment of Ms Rabia Siddique as a Non-Executive Director to the Auspire board. In 2015 Ms Siddique was nominated for an Australian of the Year award and in 2016 was recognised as a WA finalist for her role as a human rights lawyer, who successful negotiated release of two SAS soldiers from Iraqi insurgents, before British authorities buried her achievements while awarding her male colleague with a Military Cross. In a landmark discriminati...on case, Rabia fought the UK Ministry of Defence and now champions equality for all. As a committed human rights advocate and highly respected lawyer and businesswoman, Rabia will bring a wealth of experience and insight to the organisation. said Auspire Chairman, Bradley Woods. As an Australian of the Year Awards alumni, Ms Siddique knows Auspire and the work we do well. It was only more recently however that she was exposed to our broader remit around capacity building that focusses on inclusion, equality and building a sense of belonging. If there was ever a time in our Nations history that these concepts needed some fire-power its now. I was humbled to be approached and it will be an honour to serve as a member of the Board. said Ms Sidique. Photo credit - Stef King

21.01.2022 In our series of discussions with members of our Inspiring Australians Network we asked one of our Australia Day Ambassadors, Conrad Liveris to talk about his experiences through the Covid-19 pandemic and what he hoped society would learn from it. Conrad is considered one of Australias leading employment and workplace experts. Grounded by a belief in opportunity for all, he works across sectors to improve economic and social outcomes. He currently runs his own HR and risk... advisory practice, working with leaders and organisations to improve how we work with a particular focus on gender equality, diversity and the changing economy. Conrad also founded and ran a charity for over five years to help fight homelessness. Thank you Conrad for your continued support.
