22.01.2022 UPDATE: New electronic dealings delayed Further to last week's item about new electronic dealings expected to become available from 9 November, the Office of the Registrar General has advised that the deployment of the upcoming PEXA platform release, including the twenty-four new residual documents, will be delayed. We will advise as soon as we become aware of the rescheduled date.



21.01.2022 Update: Land Tax Relief date extended The date to submit an application for reduction of land tax has been extended until 31 December 2020. A landlord who has reduced their tenant’s rent due to COVID-19 for any period between 1 April 2020 and 30 September 2020 may be eligible. To find out more read below.

20.01.2022 Great news that Colin Turnell, turtle to those in the know, has celebrated with his team at Endeavour Conveyancing the elevation to the status of Life Member of AICNSW. At a lunch hosted by AICNSW President Cheryl Alt, Colin was acknowledged for his significant contribution to the development of the conveyancing profession in NSW since the Conveyancers Licensing Act was first passed helping to foster and build a strong profession. Since establishing Endeavour Conveyancing in... 1990, Colin as the first Licensed conveyancer in the Sutherland Shire, has built the business to a point where his team now share in the success and the Endeavour name is one of Engadine’s most established businesses. Jemma is a Positive Psychologist, Mediator and media commentator on many aspects of our mental wellbeing. 02.01.2022 Revenue NSW has advised that its website calculators are scheduled to be updated from 31 August 2020. In the meantime, an alert message has been placed on the FHBAS calculator. While Revenue NSW and Client Service Provider (CSP) systems are being developed, an interim application process has been outlined in the latest EDR update. Revenue NSW is continuing to work with Client Service Providers (CSPs) in delivering necessary system changes. Based on current schedules, they are aiming for CSP systems to be ready mid-September for processing all FHBAS applications.
