21.01.2022 Toxicity in the umbilical chord has been shown as increasing over the years. Now with micro plastics showing up we really have to start to be well informed and conscious when it comes to preparing for pregnancy (this is both male and female responsibility) and being pregnant. Body products, finger paints, textile are just some of the products. The need to detox and cleanse is not just a trendy thing to do. It’s required for the health of our future generations. Both mum and dads need to prepare at least for a year before falling pregnant. Make your womb a temple for the special gift you are receiving.

02.01.2022 This time last weekend I was surrounded by some of bottom’s up poo warriors. It seems like 100 lifetimes ago that I started colon hydrotherapy after being burnt... out from social work. I remember when I first started I felt so isolated, so different to social work where you have professional support, development and training at your finger tips . I would even call different therapists about different cases and not one would offer me any support/advice/insight. It was like I entered a world of Chinese whispers and smoke and mirrors. I still remember thinking how can this amazing therapy not be developed and supported. How do therapists not want to share stories and learnings. So 5 years ago I attempted to set up a model so therapists could feel supported. I put on a couple of conferences so all therapists regardless of where they were trained could attend and learn. I developed a training that starts to bring the mystery of inside outside, connecting all body systems , including the emotional and spiritual. I had the devices and disposable kits I use TGA’d approved, wanting standards to improve. I even was elected as a president of an association, until I got sacked (, it still cracks me up) because I spoke of standards we need to have within the industry. This industry still needs a lot of work. But last weekend shows me that my contribution has been supportive of the communities we work within. Having clients still visiting our Mackay clinic from when I first started at Cathu State Forest. Sitting with these women fills my heart to know they are doing an amazing job. That we at bottom’s up still hold the highest of standards. That one of my blessings of being sick, is sitting back ( I had no choice ) and reflecting on my time and seeing the maturity that bottom’s up has reached. I am excited to see what is in store next.
