Lives have been lost, many homes have been burnt, the brave firefighters are doing an incredible job and also our precious wildlife have suffered in great numbers. Such sad times. But at the same time many heartening stories of help for the affected communities, a massive response to go fund me campaigns for wildlife rescue & rehabilitation, and people out searching for injured animals is a lovely outcome.
