15.01.2022 Our country and our state in in serious crisis, fires have destroyed over 5 million hectares, more then 100000 people are being relocated to safer areas, households and businesses destroyed, over half billion animals are burnt to death. Its time for us to unitedly offer help to people in need. So proud of our community as after discussions, all have offered all possible help for the fire affected people.... Immediately appeals for relief funds and material will be made from : Gurudwara Blackburn Gurudwara Craigieburn Durga Temple, Rockbank Gurudwara Geelong Gurudwara Plumpton Gurudwara Keysborough Gurudwara Hoppers Crossing The managements of above are creating an outstanding example of sewa and generosity. We are hoping our other community institutions will also be joining in soon in this noble efforts It is so heartening that we have immediate offers for financial donations from many instituitions and individuals. We already have commitments of over $ 60000 for Fire relief funds and it is just the begining. Please put in your bit and offer as much help as you can. We shall collectively present all the funds to the state government on behalf of the community. Stay tuned as we are trying to coordinate distribution of relief material as and where required Every help matters, every dollor matters.
