25.01.2022 The Dahlias are just fabulous at the moment. All five to six feet tall and buzzing with insects since June. I've just stopped deadheading some to get seeds for next year. Garden open again on Sunday.

Join one of our most popular speakers, Lynsey Poore, RBGV Guide who will share her experience at the Chelsea Physic Garden whic...h is tucked away beside the Thames and is the oldest botanic garden in London. It has 5,000 different medicinal, herbal, edible and useful plants laid out in 1.6 hectares. It was established as the Apothecaries' Garden in 1673 by the Worshipful Society of Apothecaries to grow medicinal plants. The rock garden is the oldest in Europe and showcases alpine and Mediterranean plants. Today the collection of some 5,000 plants includes unusual and endangered species rarely seen elsewhere. In addition to the Celia Rosser Award, Celia also chose a number of artworks to ...celebrate other artists who have created outstanding artworks. This tree is covered in small pink flowers held in long racemes creating a wa...terfall of colour and fragrance.
