24.01.2022 "Greg and Sue", please contact me via the email link on the home page of the website. Badger/Gerard

24.01.2022 Be prepared to share more of the road, caravan parks, and campgrounds with "newbie" caravanners when the COVID restrictions finally relax around Australia. Like us, with 25 cruises under our belt plus overseas trips to Europe and the UK, Aussies will not be going ANYWHERE NEAR those types of holidays in the foreseeable future. We store our motorhome at a caravan dealership, and their usual 1 or 2 per week sales have rocketed since before June to up to 17 per week. And that's... ONE dealership of ONE brand of caravan in ONE city. Many of these new purchasers, once they get their hands on their vans, will have next to naught experience on how to balance, couple, tow, reverse, etc. "What's this WDH thing do?" "Ball weight - what?" Look out people - they're coming to a highway near you. If you're one of these "newbies", first thing - welcome to the magical world of touring Australia in your mobile "home" and seeing the most magnificent scenery on offer. Secondly, I strongly suggest you invest some time and a small amount of well-spent money on a caravan towing course. Just Google "caravan towing courses" for your locale. How much did you pay for that van? Is an extra few hundred bucks worth saving possible heartache when things go skew-if on the road and you loose the van (or worse) in a roll-over? Keep safe.

22.01.2022 "U Boughta Jeep" just entered the 50 Club.

22.01.2022 Some photos from our midweek jaunt last week during some wild Victorian weather. A good lesson why not to camp under trees. This limb came down near us, as well as others coming down around the campground. We chose to camp "in the sun" rather than under shade even though the temps reached into the high 30's. Thankfully, we were the only ones there.

20.01.2022 Currently looking across Lake Colac, Vic, from Meredith Park Campground. Lovely. Where are you right now?

20.01.2022 Well, intended to stay at this caravan park for a day then move closer to Darwin, but been here a week. Heading south tomorrow towards Alice Springs. Met many lovely people, and a few ratbags (don't we all, sheesh). Safe travels to all.

07.01.2022 "Peter & Lee" have made it into the 150 Club. Whoo-hoo!! I am out of breath blowing up all the balloons! Well done and we thank you.

02.01.2022 Today I made alterations to the website so that anyone who has submitted over 30 reports will no longer need to have their reports moderated (previously it was over 40 reports) so their reports will appear immediately on the website, unless the report is for a new park (I need to firstly create a park header in that case) or if they make private comments to me to read in the report. These people have been emailed. I will later look at reducing the number of reports required... to be lower than 30. I make no money from the website. Any ads are put up by the website provider. So, like you, the first website in the WORLD to report on caravan parks is still 100% voluntary. Thank you one and all. Thanks also to Lyn (Kevin & Lyn) for both topping the list with 314 reports submitted and finding the time to assist me in running the website (to be honest, she does all the moderating and checking things) and still finds time to gallivant around India at the moment.

02.01.2022 86 days around (half of) Australia. What a great country. What AMAZING scenery. What lovely people we met in camps and parks. What AMAZING scenery - was worth saying again.

01.01.2022 So, tell us, with a photo if possible, where are you? Does not matter if you're stuck in lockdown.
