05.01.2022 Junior School classes were delighted to connect with Australian Christian College - Launceston Tasmania via video conferencing this morning. Students at ACC Launceston arrived at school this morning to find their playground and school buildings covered in snow. ACCL Principal, Mr Howell and Year 6 students, Lucie, Gabby and Kate told us that today is the first time it had snowed in Launceston since 1954!... Lucie, Gabby and Kate told us that they had made a snow man and showed us how to make a snowball and how it bursts open when thrown at a wall. The girls answered questions from each of our Junior School classrooms. Junior School students were excited and interested in how different the school day was today at ACC Launceston. A comment from Year 1 shows that our strengths-based wellbeing training is working, with one student asking Were the students cold and grateful? We focussed on the strength of gratefulness last week. Thank you to the team at ACC Launceston.
