25.01.2022 Happy Australia Day team RAAMC! Have a great day wherever you are, from The Hill at Adelaide Oval to your parents back yard. Thanks to all the Police, Fire, Ambulance, Doctors and bar staff working today but a special thought to all of our RAAMC members deployed around the world.

25.01.2022 Is it just me or do any of you guys and girls find this somewhat dispicably disgracefull? Camoflague that current Australian Soldiers are wearing made like this, no money is even being raised for the ADF at all, and its all for profit at this store called Glue. Frankly I do not like this... http://www.gluestore.com.au/nobody-hi-boy-dark-bantyr-camo-

25.01.2022 As we take leave to visit family and friends around our beautiful country, we will not forget the RAAMC members doing us proud in the MEAO, Solomons, Timor and everywhere else around the world. Stay safe. See you soon.

21.01.2022 Good luck to all members of next weeks training exercises

18.01.2022 Sergeant Blaine Diddams, who was deployed as a Regiment Patrol Commander with the Special Operations Task Group in Afghanistan, was killed during an engagement with insurgents in the Chorah district of Uruzgan province on 2 July 2012. Mid Caption: SGT Diddams was a member of the Perth based Special Air Service Regiment. He was a highly experienced soldier, on his seventh tour to Afghanistan, and with previous deployments to Somalia, East Timor and the Solomon Islands . Sergeant Diddams, Didds to his mates, was a devoted family man and a dedicated professional soldier. He was known for his outwards personality and quirky sense of humour, and he was held in the highest regards by his mates and comrades alike. His sacrifice will never be forgotten.

16.01.2022 As the most sacred of days on the Army calendar approaches and we honour those that have worn the Rising Sun before us, let us not forget those who will spend the day on operations. Each and every one of you makes us proud to be in the Corps. Stay safe, stay low, treat those that cannot treat themselves and fight for those that cannot fight for themselves. You are the epitome of the ANZAC spirit.

05.01.2022 By the lady a drink.

05.01.2022 I crouched in a shallow trench on that hell of exposed beaches Steeply rising foothills bare of cover a landscape pockmarked with wars inevitable litter piles of stores equipment ammunition and the weird contortions of death sculptured in Australian flesh I saw the going down of the sun on that first ANZAC Day the chaotic maelstrom of Australias blooding. I fought in the frozen mud of the Somme in a blazing destroyer exploding in the North Sea I fought on the per...imeter at Tobruk crashed in the flaming wreckage of a fighter in New Guinea lived with the dammed in the place named Changi. I was your mate the kid across the street the med student at graduation the mechanic at the corner garage the baker who brought you bread the gardener who cut your lawn the clerk who sent your phone bill. I was an Army private a Naval commander an Air Force bombardier. No man knows me no name marks my tomb, for I am every Australian serviceman I am the Unknown Soldier. I died for a cause I held just in the service of my land that you and yours may say in freedom I am proud to be an Australian.
