22.01.2022 Vic Weiners were already in the process of getting a new public venue in the Keilor area for the Australia Day comp and were going to announce the venue change ...ASAP. Given today’s announcement and changes on restrictions we need to announce that if we get confirmation on this venue the comp will go ahead but if not we will have to cancel. If you enter and it does get cancelled then you will be fully refunded and we will put out further info as soon as we have it See more

21.01.2022 COVID-19 has been responsible for the cancellation of so many events this year, leaving our flyball calendar looking very sad indeed. Besides not being able to play our favourite sport there are some dogs who have retired this year and missed out on the send off they so rightly deserved. We would like to honour these great flyball champions by featuring them here over the next couple of weeks. If you have a champion you would like to add to this collection please send a shor...t story and some photos to [email protected] Today we are celebrating the retirement of Miss Abbey. Enjoy your much earned rest Abbey, but, I am sure we will see you next year supervising the young ones as they start their flyball career. Here is Abbey's story - courtesy of Irina Michel. In 2009 I purchased a very special black Cocker Spaniel, Abbey. Abbey is those one in a million dogs who, when put to a task picks up everything so quickly. It didn’t take her long to go through the paces through Dog Obedience getting all certificates. After this I wanted to train her in a sport that plenty of fun and this is where we started Flyball at Redlands Flyball in Queensland and she absolutely loved it. 2013 I took Abbey to her first Nationals in Victoria and she ran every race with her heart and soul. Her racing continued always being a dog where you could run her in between large dogs without faltering and helping by running her with beginner dogs so build new dogs confidence. Abbey represented Queensland well in many State and Queensland events and completed her Flyball career with the Title - Flyball Master Champion representing Redlands Flyball. The sport has bought us so much joy and we had fun racing. Abbey is now enjoying life mostly on my lap enjoying retirement.

09.01.2022 Today we are in complete shock on the passing of our beautiful red friend Manny. Manny the stunning red cattle dog 742C started racing on 19th November 2011. Ma...nny was 10 years old and came from a horse stud farm in Dalby. He was a member of Pine Rivers Flyball and always gave his all. He was apart of the winner team at last year's Nationals and was the reliable wisdom of the Pine Rivers Devils. He achieved his Flyball Champion Masters. He also enjoyed his Agility, walks, swimming and had just started Scent work. Gail and Manny had such a special bond, sending our love to her today and big hugs to his friend Samson. Gone to soon. RIP Manny our beautiful red boy, the team will miss you. Fly high See more
