24.01.2022 View from our newest project today, I may have to drop a line !!!

23.01.2022 We won again, thank you to Daniel and Narelle being the driving force in being awarded this most prestigious award today. Only award bigger than this is builder of the year. Which we didn’t submit for, well done team AHR

21.01.2022 Completed tile project. One of our team told us his wife grew up in this house 40 years ago. The couple who now own it were engaged on this verandah, but it became unusable now they can enjoy it for years to come. A challenging project, but restoration which preserves heritage fabric is something we are always proud to be a part of.

19.01.2022 Putting the pieces back together again with a corrected pattern using 90% of the original heritage tiles.

19.01.2022 Exactly, In my other job as an expert witness at Ncat disputes the Member(judge) always asks the owners why they picked their builder, their reply was because he was cheap.

18.01.2022 Mean while during isolation, we have finished the main landscaping. I’ve designed a first off not in Australia yet water feature and a ethanol fire pit, 5 weeks and we are finished

17.01.2022 Just had to send body corporate tradies away from my place, went to work on roof without, fall protection, harnesses or SWMS they were more upset that they knew the rules but thought they could get away with it

16.01.2022 Amazing sandstone repairs on our recent project at Wickham. A complete sill replacement and repointing work. See the difference on the before and after photos.

16.01.2022 Less than One sixth of projects we have completed in the last 17 years. Today I go into semi retirement working in the background supporting Daniel and Narrelle assuring AHRs future, thank you everyone for your support all these years. For the next 6 days I’m happy to answer any questions on the projects I just posted, FYI I do have some really funny and not normally for publication story’s about each of these projects. Thank you everyone

15.01.2022 To celebrate AHRs 10 year anniversary on Facebook I decided to do some celebrating thank you everyone for your support over the years

12.01.2022 Well, after 17 years from starting AHR, today I handed in my phone to Daniel, the company could not be in better hands, the operation went well and I only lost 5 litres of blood, and 20 litres of tears, after removing it from my hand and ear . I’ll give my final posting next weekend with some of my fav projects over that 17 years. I’ll still be working as heritage consultant exclusively for AHR, so the company won’t be losing the experience.

11.01.2022 Happy 17th birthday AHR , it all started in a little heritage milking shed at Byabarra. The knowledge obtained over the years priceless. Down side is I can’t watch a renovation show without throwing my cuppa at the TV yelling your not doing it right!!!

11.01.2022 Very proud to be associated with one of the best organisations I’ve had the privilege to be a member of, a special thank you to Luke Reeves for his friendship, and guidance through these last 10 years, thank you little brother.

08.01.2022 This happen to a close friend please share

04.01.2022 Yeah I know it’s not heritage but the weather has delayed allot of our projects!! In the mean time my back yard is nearly finished. Water/fire feature coming soon WTS

04.01.2022 We're very excited to start our new project at Scone Railway Station. We'll be upgrading the front posts adding new valence iron work, re-painting, new landscaping, internal carpentry works etc... looking forward to seeing this beauty come alive again. We'll keep you updated as we go along.

04.01.2022 Coutt's Sailors Home is a Heritage listed property built in 1882 and was known as the Coutt's Sailors Rest Home. We are currently restoring the very beautiful and detailed verandah railings!

03.01.2022 My opinion As a building consultant, would be, DONT GO ON THIS RIDE!!!

01.01.2022 Unfortunately heritage buildings are now being lost. Just a outer skin remaining, it’s greed, nothing more to add. We really need to change what we build from, recycle waste. Change opinion and not let the big complacent companies shoot new products down. Off the soap box now
