It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of ‘Ghazi Farhan Abbasi’ in Jordan on Saturday 14 November 2020, aged 74. In Sydney, loving father of Areen Abbasi the wife of Abraham Sunna. The brother of Samir, Zuheir, the late Munier, Jereis and their Families. In Jordan, loving husband to Yosra Abbasi and loving father to Abeer, Alaa, Ola, Dima and families. 11.01.2022 On behalf of the President and Committee of the Australian Jordanian Society, we would like to say thank you to everyone that organised, attended, helped and participated in our Fathers Day celebration . We would also like to say a big thank you to DJ Eddie Abdo Ayash for volunteering his services and playing music during the event to entertain us all. The evening allowed us as a Jordanian community to be together and show our gratitude to our fathers. ... At the end of the celebration, all the fathers cut the Fathers Day cake and took commemorative photos together. We wish all our fathers happiness, health and prosperity.
