23.01.2022 Diamond Creek- Yarra Valley model railway club model train exhibition has been CANCELLED

22.01.2022 Important Announcement Epping Model Railway Club has now received confirmation from the venue, that the 2020 Exhibition will not take place at Rosehill Gardens ...and we have decided to cancel the event and go ahead with planning for the exhibition in 2021 on the June Long Weekend from 12th 14th June 2021. In line with the Government directive for large indoor and outdoor events not to take place we have decided to make this decision so that the many Interstate and Country members, visitors and exhibitors have plenty of notice of the change. All exhibitors are advised that we will keep their applications on file for 2021 and keep you updated with any changes to our schedule later in the year. This includes those who have requested and received kits for the Second Hand Stall. At this stage our Market Day will go ahead in November and we hope to be able to participate in other events in the latter part of 2020 Please keep safe and look after yourselves and we hope to see you in the not too distant future. We will advise of any additional events as circumstances permit. Thanks and kind regards Mike Lillie Phil Collins Exhibition Manager Secretary

16.01.2022 Gary Gentle has asked AMRM to mention on this Facebook page that he is trying to find Grant Tailor (Taylor) of the ACT to return a (now completed) model he had commissioned. He has been unable to contact him recently (telephone calls have not been answered). He believes that Grant has been ill, which may explain the silence. If any AMRM Facebook page reader could help with Grant’s current whereabouts, or let him know that his model is ready to be collected and that Gary is unable to contact him, that would be greatly appreciated. Gary can be contacted via his own Facebook page: www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100008121973705, by mob: 0428 894 046 or by email: [email protected]. James McInerney (Editor)

10.01.2022 2020 Modelling the Early Days of the NSW Railways Workshop With all the cancellations for meetings and exhibitions being currently revealed, a comment regarding the next Early Days Workshop, due in July 2020 is appropriate. Looking positively at the situation, we will be over this health issue by July and will still have the workshop on 23 July at Epping.... Looking responsibly at the situation, if the health issue is still with us, we will reorganise the workshop as soon as we can, hopefully still in 2020 and in some form or other.
