25.01.2022 PPP GOOLWA 15th 18th November - Ground school - Expect the Unexpected facilitated by Cpt Dave Holbourn and Paul Baishont (ATC). Recovery from unusual attitudes in Southern Cross Flight Simulator Services along with a non Pilot Partners Program. Saturday night dinner with after dinner presentation by Dave Holbourn. A memorable weekend with flying, new knowledge, new simulated flying experiences and of course the fantastic social program. Make sure you join us for the next one, you wont regret it!



24.01.2022 Well, the PPP in Lilydale was a rip roaring success with 17 members participating in the ground school, 10 also dual flying.....several taking the opportunity to complete a Melbourne CBD orbit with an instructor.....9 partners taking the Yarra valley tour and 30 attending the Xmas dinner. Sunday morning we had an interesting discussion on avionics upgrades facilitated by Stuart Hills...what a weekend. Make sure you join us for the next one!

23.01.2022 Around the country in 35 days - Part 4: Rottnest Island; WA's newest National Park - the Abrolhos islands and coming in to land at East Wallabi Island for lunch on the beach; Kalbarri to go for a 9km walk along the gorge.

20.01.2022 After the classroom - came the training flights. Then the evening dinner --- Narromine United Services Club. What a great turnout. After dinner, Dave Long presented the Narromine PPP "awards" which you can read about in the next newsletter BUT we can disclose that Ian & Vicki celebrate the win of the perpetual 'longest distance travelled' trophy......well done Ian & Vicki.

17.01.2022 A successful AGM in Wagga Wagga on Saturday welcomes a new committee! Congratulations to: President - Scott Lewis... Vice-President - Jai Wright Secretary - Claire Clarke Treasurer - Douglas Johnson Members - Janine Milton, David Goode, Alan Bradshaw The committee looks forward to creating a successful and positive year for the Society.

17.01.2022 This years AGM in Bathurst was well attended with a great social program to complement the weekend. Thanks to the outgoing committee for a fantastic year with a number of well attended flyaways. The new committee have already put together an exciting schedule for 2018/19 starting with a PPP in Lilydale over the weekend 30th Nov-2nd Dec. Saturday 1st December also includes our Xmas Dinner - come along and join in the fun.

11.01.2022 APS Yarrawonga breakfast fly in. Sunday 11th December chef Jai welcomed 21 guests for breakfast in Yarrawonga. Conditions were perfect for flying (after you got out of Melbourne), the breakfast was hearty and the company fantastic. Colin and Britta even made the short hop from Sydney!
