25.01.2022 Happy New Year from all of us at Australian Tree Care - Tas. We hope you’ve had some time to slow down, enjoy some summer weather and recharge your batteries. We’ve had a great break and are now back on deck and ready to keep your trees in good shape!

23.01.2022 Tree work of a different kind - here’s a creative knitting project designed to highlight the threatened status of Mountain Ash forests.

23.01.2022 We do all sorts of work on lots of trees, but every now and then we are called on for something a little different. This cute picture reminds us of one of those jobs. A client asked us to install roosting boxes in their trees for ringtail possums, as well as ropes between trees so the possums could safely move around without needing to come down to the ground. While we were there we got to sneak a peak at them sleeping in one of their boxes. Sometimes tree care is also animal care and we love that.

21.01.2022 Here they are, our fabulous hard working crew (+Tom, who has joined the team since this photo was taken). You’re looking at lots of tree care experience and knowledge right there. We’re biased of course , but we like to think you won’t find a better looking bunch of people to care for your trees. Over the next little while we’ll introduce them to you individually, but for now, hello from Ryan, Rebecca, Frank, Jim and Lauren and Tom (who isn’t pictured).

21.01.2022 This little pussy cat forgot the stay home orders and got herself well and truly stuck up a tree! Three days later, and Frank is super pleased to have been able to rescue her for her very worried owner. Stay safe Kensy cat, and no more climbing tricky trees like that!

19.01.2022 It might not look like much, but this phone is worth its weight in gold*! For the last two days it’s been running hot, taking your calls and texts. That incredible snow has sure done a number on lots of trees! At the moment we are focusing on getting to trees that are high risk and unsafe and one of our crews will get to your trees as soon as they can. Thank you for your patience. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . ... *It’s also easier to replace when it accidentally goes through the chipper See more

18.01.2022 Trees are pretty awesome. https://youtu.be/yWOqeyPIVRo

17.01.2022 Gotta love trees!

15.01.2022 We love the variety of tree work, but today held something a bit out of the ordinary. Jesse, poor pussy cat, got himself stuck up the top of a big tree and needed a bit of help. It all ended well though - here’s Frank bringing down a very scared pussy cat. Once he was back on the ground, Jesse went straight to bed to catch up on his lost night of sleep. Gotta love a happy ending.

15.01.2022 Tree assessments in beautiful locations are one of the perks of being an arborist!

14.01.2022 His favourite cake is Lumberjack Cake - how appropriate for a tree man! Happy Birthday Frank.

14.01.2022 Aw, this is great! What message would you email your favourite tree? https://mobile.abc.net.au//people-are-emailing-tr/10468964

08.01.2022 Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from all of us at Australian Tree Care - Tas! May you be happy and safe as you celebrate. See you in 2020!

03.01.2022 We’re getting a website ready to launch and had a bit of a photo shoot recently... some of the crew really got into the spirit of things. NB No chainsaws were injured in the filming of our crew, nor does this reflect our usual chainsaw practices

01.01.2022 Trees. They’re pretty special really! Urban trees are not just ornaments, but vital infrastructure. They make cities liveable and sustainable and they allow citizens to live healthier and longer lives.

01.01.2022 It’s pretty good view from up there - Frank and the team working on some big trees not too far away from the Gorge.

01.01.2022 It snowed overnight! Amazing! Not so amazing for our trees, which are feeling the weight of all that snow on their branches! Please stay safe, and keep your distance from trees and branches that may fall. ... If you have damage you’d like us to look at, give us a call or a text message and we’ll get to you as soon as we can.
