25.01.2022 Ok we just had to show you this incredible progress shot taken during a fat transfer! Dr Ali took fat from this patients thigh to transfer into her face to increase volume and fill out the areas which had been effected my ageing. The first image is halfway through the procedure, the second is before. Check out the incredible difference and this is only halfway through! Kalani graduated in 2018 with a bachelors degree in Nursing from QUT and has been with us for just over a year. Kalani loves learning about the human body and loves that she gets to learn new things every day here at the clinic. In her spare time she loves hanging out with her friends and scrolling through endless photos and videos of cute... dogs on instagram! Monique has worked in administration as a Medical Typist and Executive Support Officer for six years at the Princess Alexandra and Royal Brisbane Women’s Hospitals. She came to the Sunshine Coast for a seaside ch...ange and she loves communicating with patients and facilitating their appointments. She appreciates how helpful a trusted doctor is and highly respects cosmetic and integrative health and loves to be helping patients find these options. She has previously studied Biomedical Science for three years. She likes plants, the beach but most of all dogs - especially boxers. 14.01.2022 We are so happy to welcome Mechelle to our nursing team! Mechelle has been with us for a couple of months now and it feels like she has been with us forever, she has fit right in Mechelle has 6 years of Nursing experience, she graduated with a Bachelor of Nursing Science from the University of the Sunshine Coast. Mechelle loves to learn and and is very motivated in assisting our patients to maintain optimum health. In her free time Mechelle enjoys spending quality time with friends and family. She also enjoys BBQ’s, swimming and beach walks.

12.01.2022 What is visceral fat and what has it got to do with a DXA scan and your health? Visceral fat is the harmful fat stored around your organs and is linked to chronic illness like heart disease, type two diabetes and non-alcoholic liver disease. If you want to find out more about your health and make sure you are on the right track to wellness - having a DXA scan is a fantastic baseline. Regular scales can’t tell you anything other than a number. A DXA scan will tell you your level of visceral fat, your muscle mass and your bone density. Dr Ali will go over these numbers with you so you can understand where your health levels are at and identify areas to improve on and most importantly help you create an achievable attainable plan!
