25.01.2022 Lexi Thomas from Silk Southdowns judged the Wiltshire Horns at the Rona virtual sheep show today. Here are her thoughts on the sheep on display and on Wiltshire Horns in general!

25.01.2022 4th place in ewes under 1.5 years in flock challenge - Byarlea Stud

25.01.2022 Article of interest to many of us and a mention of Bill Williams and our sheep breed in there to boot!

25.01.2022 Winning video best group overall and best group of 6 ewes under 1.5 years. This class was won by Kallista stud. Comments made by judges include: These ewes had good presence, were very even and had plenty of commercial traits.... They caught my eye immediately. They are feminine and stylish. They are structurally sound, paraded nicely and walk very well. They have lovely black feet and noses and are true to type. They have good muscle development, thick long loins and good spring of rib. They have great twist in their hindquarters. They are even and uniform. Extra points for walking on whistle command. They are a great representation of the breed. Judges were Olivia Cross, Ashlea Cross and Scott Mitchell. Thank you to our judges and congratulations to Kallista Stud! If you entered and would like to read the full judges' report on your sheep do email us at [email protected].
