15.01.2022 Monique O'Dea stumbled across her Baroque viola at her luthier's, and on playing it she recalls falling in love with the instrument's sweet tone and small size. Made by Pierre Silvestre in 1849, Monique took the viola that afternoon to a Brandenburg rehearsal and within a week she purchased it - as Monique says, "it was meant to be!" Watch Monique perform on the instrument in her very first Bach Series recording on Brandenburg One: https://bit.ly/BachNo11

ABO has been forced to remove from sale all tickets for its NOËL! NOËL! concert series, three weeks from opening, while it awaits advice from the government on the COVID-safe regulations."
