17.01.2022 http:// SYDNEY 300 CANCELLED // It is with great disappointment that we write to you to advise of the cancellation of the second Round of the Australian 1000, which was to be held at Sydney Motorsport Park on May 9-10. We have been in constant communication with the senior management team Australian Racing Drivers' Club, and due to the new legislation limiting sports events, along with social distancing, etc, It has been agreed between ARDC and the Promoter (Motor Racing Australi...a - MRA) to cancel the event. The event organisers are terribly disappointed as they had received a good number of entries and we were looking forward to a great event. The next round is scheduled for November 7 - 8 at Winton Motor Raceway, We will advise the status of these events via social media and email. At this stage, we will still be looking to run the Winton 300 round, and this year reducing the 1000km to just 600km. While this doesn't reflect the true intent of the Australian 1000, there will still be a championship for those who are wanting to attend.

The Driver Championship rewards the Driver who is the most outstanding for the series and accumulates the most individual points for the series. The Team Championship is the top prize on the line and will be won by the Team who completes the most laps and accumulates the most points throughout the Series.
