12.01.2022 Hi All, As we're facing an unprecedented situation with the COVID-19 in the world of events, we would like to hear your thoughts. While a lot of events were cancelled lately, the official requirements at the moment are allowing events like Baw Baw Extreme to proceed. ... Moreover, the latest recommendations are that community sport should not stop, while spectators are banned. The health benefits of outdoor sports should not be underestimated, especially in such a hard time for a lot of people. Our event management team is considering to put into effect a number of precaution measures in order to minimise risk or exposure, such as: - 100 participants cap. - minimise gathering (briefing is conducted online, race packs posted, split (individual) start, no presentation). - maximise hygienic measures (hand sanitiser, etc). - no catering (only bottled water at the finish line). - only single-use items. Unless the situation changes dramatically and additional quarantine measures will be implemented, at the moment we're considering the race to go ahead; however, we would like to hear your thoughts. Will you take part or you consider the risk to be too high for you to participate? Just comment if you're "In" or "Out" in this race or just share your thoughts.

12.01.2022 If you decide to head over to Baw Baw and check out the course on your own, you might be not as lonely as you thought you would be.
