21.01.2022 Like many Queenslanders, VH-NEL has a beach house on the Gold Coast. Probably Australia’s best private airport, Mason Field is home to many exotic aircraft, and exotic pilots. Its just 20 minutes away from YRED which is Aerobatics Australia’s operation base. Mark Snape flies finals on 01.

10.01.2022 Alec Taylor came to @australianaerobatics for his Aerobatics training prior to flight screening for the RAAF! He has just graduated as a fighter pilot on July 2!! His Mum and dad are very happy, especially as daughter Claire is about to graduate as a doctor this year! Well done Alec and Claire! Big nod to your Mum and Dad too! ... Alec hopes for a week or two off before being posted and plans to fly @australianaerobatics Xtreme Decathlon, VH-NEL with his dad, who like his fellow 787 captains, are currently grounded due corona virus...

09.01.2022 Love flying at Redcliffe in VHNEL with Gerry

08.01.2022 Great day to forget the gopro.first inverted spin with David. What a great morning

07.01.2022 Instructor trainees with Flight Options at Maroochydore (YBSU), Rob Beauchamp and Ashley Zappia, completed their spinning endorsements with Aerobatics Australia at YRED. Rob was a Jetstar cadet and Ashley was flying Metros with Capital before Covid interrupted their careers. After the spins, Rob and Ashley flew loops, rolls inverted flight and enjoyed every minute of it! Rob says the sweat on his back was from landing a tailwheel aircraft for the first time!

07.01.2022 Seen on the Apron at YRED this morning while topping up a racy red one! 05.01.2022 Daniel Lea (right) finished his tailwheel course with Gerry (left). Steven Alves (middle) finished his aerobatics course in Xtreme Decathlon VH-NEL at Aerobatics Australia, YRED. Well done guys!

05.01.2022 A great video! Seriously unbelievable flying. This is a useful watch for keeping any eye on the flight control movements during manoeuvring. Watch on Full Screen! https://www.facebook.com/6639866/videos/10156118002371665/

03.01.2022 The last time Kevin Smith AKA "Para1" got out of a plane was probably at 500ft over unknown ground, at night! This time he took no chances, strapping on a chute again to get in some sneaky Aeros with Aerobatics Australia over Morton Bay a coupe of weeks ago!

01.01.2022 Xtreme Decathlon VH-NEL inside her Queensland Gold Coast beach hangar at Mason Field, Southport, about to have some TLC care with Mike at Jetpoint. Mike is a Qantas first officer, now a LAME, and Pitts S2B owner...and grade one instructor doing flight reviews for Aerobatics Australia for members of the Southport Flying Club, owners of Mason Field.
