25.01.2022 I have decided to run a series of kids workshops where we will learn about horses and what it takes to own your own horse in a fun and engaging environment. The course is aimed at 7-12 year olds. Due to COVID restrictions places are limited to 4 children per session. These are 1 hour unmounted sessions. Cost will be $30 per child per session. Once I have enough interest I will announce a starting date. At this stage I am planning on running the sessions on Saturday afternoons 2- 3pm and 3:30-4:30pm. All students will be required to purchase an ABRA notebook for $15 so they can keep their learning materials together. Be quick to contact me if you think your child might like to participate as these spots will fill up fast. This will be a drop off session, so parents have the luxury of going to town for a coffee while I teach the kids

25.01.2022 5 reasons why horses are good for our wellbeing. 1. Spending time with horses helps to lower our blood pressure. 2. Horses require us to be present in each moment- giving us a valuable mindfulness practice. 3. Working with horses in a harmonious way is a form of meditation.... 4. Horses give us the opportunity to leave the busyness of our lives behind while we are at the barn. 5. Watching horses grazing helps to calm our busy minds and gets us outdoors in the fresh air. 24.01.2022 I have been busy behind the scenes getting ready for today (official opening day). I am now a qualified COVID Safe Coach. We have a COVID safe plan and have moved some lesson times around so no students will cross paths before or after their lesson. Looking forward to seeing all my students again in the near future.

23.01.2022 ****Hot off the press*** ABRA has become the first PCA accredited centre in the South East. Great for people who want to learn but don’t have a horse. Miri especially loves children

21.01.2022 -To all my wonderful students- As per the SA Governments announcement this afternoon RE: COVID. ABRA will be closed as of midnight tonight for 2 weeks (at this stage). All lessons will be postponed including the group theory lessons.... I will be contacting everyone who has booked and paid over the coming days. I hope everyone understands that this decision is beyond my control. Please stay safe and I will resume teaching as soon as I can.

20.01.2022 Too often I see riders trying to reach an unattainable level of perfection with their riding and they forget the most important piece of the puzzle. Connecting with the horse is where it all begins.

18.01.2022 Over the past 6 months I have been using essential oils with my horses to support their emotional and physical wellness. I continue to be amazed at how effective these oils are and how well the horses respond to them. If this resonates with you please get in contact with me as I would love to share my learnings far and wide ... #youngliving #essentialoils #horsesandoils

04.01.2022 I’ve just opened up 2 more lesson times this Saturday for children as the rest of the week has been booked out. Please visit my website and create a rider account- make sure you list ABRA as your favourite stable then you will be added as a client. Then you can book in for my remaining 2 lessons this week. Thanks to everyone who is supporting my small business. I’m so happy to be living my dream

04.01.2022 Due to the recent breaches in border security and the potential for this to bring COVID cases to the Limestone Coast, I have made the decision to temporarily close my business. I will teach out the remaining booked lessons but I won’t be teaching any further lessons until the risk has significantly reduced. I hope all my current and future students understand. It has again been a very hard decision but I believe the right one.

04.01.2022 Due to overwhelming demand I am now fully booked out for school horse lessons. I have started a waiting list for those who would like to join for lessons once I have an extra school horse. Thank you to everyone for embracing riding with such enthusiasm. I am humbled to be able to serve so many students. I am looking to lease an additional school horse while I continue to train Diesel for the school. Such exciting times at ABRA.

03.01.2022 I am very excited to officially announce that as of 1 July 2020 I am reopening. I also have a new website where students can book and pay online. All you need to do is set up a student account and make ABRA your favorite stable and then pick a session time you wish to attend. It’s that easy!! There are more exciting developments that will be announced over the coming weeks. Please enjoy my new website ... https://hopoti.com/en/stable/AustralianBaroqueRidingAcademy
