24.01.2022 We regret to inform that due to the Covid-19 restrictions on mass gatherings, the decision has been made to cancel the Australian Body Art Festival for this year. We are in the process of contacting everyone and organising refunds for artists, stallholders and sponsors. Please bear with us while we work through the list. Thank you everyone for all of your support and understanding. It would have been an awesome event. We at ABAF HQ are all devastated and we hope all our body art family are staying safe and healthy during this crisis.

22.01.2022 As announced this afternoon by the Prime Minister, Scott Morrison in his address to the nation, "non-essential organised gatherings of persons of 500 or more" are advised against and restricted from Monday. He also has advised that there will be many issues to work through between now and Monday 16th March as they get the precise advice about the implementation of that to Australians around the country. It is therefore highly likely that our much-loved Australian Body Art Fe...stival will be affected by this decision. Please rest assured that we will be following the guidelines as set down by the Government in respect to decisions of events of more than 500. Obviously at this stage, the finer details have not been determined. We will keep you informed and advise of event cancellation, postponement, refunds, etc. once the final advice from Government has been received. We ask for your patience until we can assess the requirements and formulate a plan. Please can we ask that you do not email, phone, post or inundate us at this time until we are aware of all the facts. Thanking you in advance for your understanding.

22.01.2022 Update: The Australian Body Art Festival will not be held in April due to the constraints in place on outdoor events due to Covid-19. Our hosting organisation, Cooroy Chamber of Commerce is currently deciding on whether the event will be postponed or cancelled for this year. We will provide an update here and be in contact with all artists, stall holders, volunteers and sponsors as soon as a decision is made. We thank you for your understanding in this difficult time.
