24.01.2022 Some followers (aged between 16 and 30 and living in Australia) may be interested in participating in this research into personality and eating behaviours. The study involves answering an online survey which will ask you about your eating behaviour and what you think about yourself, in particular personality characteristics. The survey takes about 30mins https://monash.az1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_afqxGmXMEC2Ztt3 For more information contact the main researcher, Tanya, at [email protected]

23.01.2022 I feel that many followers will not be surprised by the content of the following article "Can't afford a psychologist? Here's where it all went wrong" https://www.abc.net.au//covid-mental-health-syst/12512378 We look forward to rolling out our National Training Strategy next year as a step towards upskilling clinicians to be able and willing to treat people with BPD. Our advocacy continues

12.01.2022 The Summer BPD Advocate looks at myths around not informing someone about their diagnosis of BPD, becoming a new parent, the value of pets, and some COVID-19 strategies. We also hear from a carer on change, meet the chair of Australasian Association for Research & Treatment into Personality Disorders, and take a look at creative ways to manage feelings and the festive season.

11.01.2022 This may be of interest to people living in North Eastern Melbourne which includes - Whittlesea, Banyule, Nillumbik and the outer Shires of Murrindindi and Mitchell. NEMHSCA (North East Mental Health Service Coordination Alliance) are planning an online event for 2021 that will guide MH professionals, consumers and carers through their local service sector so that everyone can better understand the referral pathways, programs and services available in the North East region of Metro Melbourne. They would love to hear from people living in the area about the way in which you would like to receive online content via an 1-2 minute online survey https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/9KL5YV5
