25.01.2022 Back to the grind after a short break. Happy New Year Everyone! What are your Study Goals this year? Planning and setting your study goals is the first step you will need to achieve success... ACCCO has an ‘Academic Hotline’ where a learner is able to call or email to speak to a qualified person to seek assistance with their studies an...d/or assessments, during business hours. This academic service is to ensure the learner’s progression is supported with minimal delay or disruption as possible. 25.01.2022 **National Sorry Day** National Sorry Day is a significant day for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, particularly for Stolen Generations survivors. Sorry Day was first mentioned as one of the 54 recommendations of the Bringing them Home report which was tabled in Parliament on the 26th May 1967. Our students and staff participated in this special day by completing quizzes where they could find the answers by searching for clues throughout the campus. Our own Indigenous Workforce Consultant Robert Ah Wing facilitated traditional games and activities with our students and staff. Our trainers Eleni and Katie set up beautiful displays in the student area and in the classrooms.

24.01.2022 "They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old; Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning We will remember them."... Yesterday, our Principal Narelle got creative with cardboard and paint to create a giant Poppy flower to hang on the side of our Brisbane campus. We hope many will be joining us to "Light Up the Dawn" and gather in their driveways, on their balconies or at their front gates and pay our respects to our ANZACs. LEST WE FORGET

23.01.2022 *** A passion for child care key principle*** Back in 2007 our Director Narelle Cossettini was featured in a Brisbane city newspaper expressing her passion for childcare. Jump to 2020 and Narelle is still as passionate as ever about quality education and training. "Our goal, our ambition, is to provide students with a high-quality training experience". This is evidenced with thousands of happy students that have graduated from A...CCCO over the past 23 years. ACCCO has continued to provide training and support for students during the recent COVID-19 pandemic and will continue to provide quality training to support students career ambitions. A personalised learning journey has been important during recent times and ACCCO has made adjustments to meet the individual needs, learning styles and commitments of our students. When we ask our students what the best thing is about their time at ACCCO they are all unanimous in their response as to the training and support given to them by our friendly staff. Australian Vocational Education and Training Statistics 2019 state that 91.4% of ACCCO graduates were employed after training. You can kick start your career in early childhood education, education support or school age care by calling ACCCO on 3257 1972 https://www.accco.com.au/about-us/ See more

20.01.2022 **Congratulations ACCCO 24 years Birthday Celebrations** Today I had a lovely surprise when the staff and students lead me into a room full of balloons, steamers, flowers, cake and morning tea for ACCCO’s 24th Birthday which is this Saturday. As I mentioned to the group, we have an awesome management team leading a great team of staff (trainers and administration). To our students, you become apart of the ACCCO family as you will be in services caring and education our futu...re generations. I was touched, when one student said ACCCO is so supportive and professional, she wished she had enrolled with us first as the other two cheap RTOs closed. Another student also informed me since enrolling into ACCCO class, she is now progressing and learning heaps, she too was previously with another cheap RTO. There is a reason why things happens and I know these two students will value quality training for many years to come as many services who recommend ACCCO and actively seeking out our graduates. Quality Training leads to Quality Educators = Quality and Care for children. Thank you once again and happy Birthday ACCCO Love and best wishes from your ACCCO family Narelle

14.01.2022 It has been a challenging time over the past few months and our resilience has been tested. When we are faced with difficult times, it is also an opportunity to reflect on the positive outcomes. Recently many of us have had to develop new IT skills, revisit past interests such as craft and reading and catch up on TV shows. I enjoy listening to meaningful stories of how families have been drawn closer by playing board games, learning new skills or exercising together. Remembe...r we need to give thanks for friends and family on this special occasion as they are the people in our lives who we can draw strength from during this difficult time. Easter symbolises new beginnings so once we endure these uncertain times we will all emerge united with a new sense of purpose and appreciate for life. Stay safe and well and especially remember to smile we are all in this together. Apart by distance, yet close by heart. Happy Easter!" - Narelle Cossettini, CEO and Principal of ACCCO
