23.01.2022 Diversity and inclusion in the tech sector can be the greatest driver of Australia's productivity but building a diverse tech sector remains a challenge. ACS aims to support and inform ICT businesses on D&I, helping to grow a happier, healthier and more productive ICT sector. To achieve this, we've released 2 reference guides on diversity and inclusion. Targeted at small and medium ICT businesses in Australia, these guides provide practical and actionable guidelines to begin ...or continue developing workplace D&I. We invite you to use these reference guides to commence or advance your D&I journey and deliver benefits to your employees, your organisation and the ICT industry. 21.01.2022 The announcement of $240m to support female cadetships and apprenticeships in science, technology, engineering and mathematics will go some way to address the under-representation of women in the ICT sector. ACS welcomes the support to get more women in technology and STEM roles in this year's Federal Budget. As ACS Australia's Digital Pulse report highlights, women continue to be underrepresented in the ICT sector, comprising only 29% of the overall share of workers in tech occupations #federalbudget #womeninstem #womenintech
