19.01.2022 Treasurer needed by May 2021!!!! The ACF is looking for a new treasurer to join the Executive team (non-voting roll) starting from the May 2021 AGM (or earlier). No experience required - a transfer of information and any relevant files can easily be done virtually. Interested person should be a member of a State Curling Association and can be anywhere in Australia or be able to attend virtual evening meetings AEST. Responsibilities include: -filling out/organising a monthly e...xcel spreadsheet -using Westpac online banking for bank balances; dual signatories required for any payments (do not need to be an existing Westpac client) -Annual financial summary for AGM in May -attend ACF virtual meetings (usually monthly) and provide financial summary -coordinate with existing insurance company for annual payment and create annual invoices for State Curling associations -various other annual and miscellaneous payments/invoice creation with established templates including annual State Curling Fees Interested volunteers can email the Secretary at: [email protected].

16.01.2022 Congratulations to Carlee Millikin who was successful in her scholarship application for the Postgraduate Certificate, International Sports Management, developed and delivered in conjunction with the University of London. Carlee received news from the World Curling Federation that she was the recipient of a half scholarship and starts this month. As a current member of the Women's National team it is fantastic to see athletes furthering their interests. We wish her success ...in this exciting new challenge! This opportunity was offered by the World Curling Federation in partnership with the World Academy of Sport to provide Member Associations with greater opportunities to learn new skills to help them improve their professional careers and the curling community around them.
