20.01.2022 "Road bike off road" training camp! Are you scared of gravel, or particularly scared or descending it on your road bike? Or are you now being left behind because all of your friends are getting gravel bikes? Or do you just want to go on more adventures with your trusty steed (road bike or gravel bike)?! Not everyone can afford a gazillion bikes, so upgrading your standard road setup for a gravel bike may seem unfeasible. Maybe you just want the ability and confidence to take ...that unknown road and know that you will make it out to the other end without extreme fear and trepidation! So why don't you come on the next tour? It will be adventure focused, the riding will be challenging and there will be plenty of hills, beautiful countryside & quiet roads. I will give you the guidance and coaching you need to ride your road bike on the gravel sections. The tour will be the same as my previous tours however the gravel sections will be nursed to improve your skills and have you excited for more dirt! 11.01.2022 Hi fellow bike lovers, Its been a while since my last tour and things are looking up in the exploration department! I want to start the season off a little bit easier, a warm-up after winter and hibernation! This wont be a smash fest, we will be out there to enjoy in while still keeping a steady pace. Stops are made to make the most out of the beautiful locations, there will still be challenges for those with stronger legs. Location: Boonah/Mt Barney region. Approx 100km per day. 1000- 1500+m vert. Group Size: 8-10 I will include all the adventure you would normally find on one of our tours... the gravel roads, climbing, stunning scenery & quiet roads. And for anyone who wants a little bit more riding I will have options post the main ride to do this. All accommodation, food - 2 x breakfast, 2 x dinner, 2 x light lunch, some snacks, & transport will be included. You just need to bring your bike, clothes, ride snacks/recovery nutrition & spares. The tour cost will be around the $700 mark for the 3 days - cost will vary and TBC depending on accommodation options.
