22.01.2022 Terrifying footage of yesterdays caravan rollover at Cooroy. We always say every crash has a story and this lovely gentleman has one. After the recent passing ...of his wife, he spent his time alone to reflect on the world and have a break at Inskip Point. They had bought the caravan new nearly 10 years ago and travelled all over Queensland with no issues. He was returning home to Brisbane when coming down the Cooroy Hill some bumps started to unsettle the van. He has come off the brakes and tried to get back on course, and well the rest is history. The best part was he was fine, and no one else was involved. In our chats he said the irony is exactly 30 years ago he was passing through the Sunshine Coast in his motor home when another vehicle took him out, and the Clayton's team assisted then too. The true meaning of meeting by accident. Full video at the end, big thumbs up to those who come to help him, certainly the Aussie spirit, even though strangers, a mate just there to help a mate.

20.01.2022 So my house was broken into last night, while I was asleep.... again.... they tried to steal my car, so I went for a ride.... Joy ride lasted about 20 minutes a...nd they probably hit 200km/hr with me in the back. Between yelling at them, kneeing and punching the drivers side passenger window, dodging them trying to stab me and throwing stuff, we came to an agreement where they'd ditch the car and bolt and none of us would get hurt. It was a pretty heated discussion while they drove crazily around the suburbs. They kept telling me to jump and I kept trying to break the window. They pulled over a couple of times where one tried to stab me and I had to kick him away. Then they'd take off again swerving and trying to throw me. They ended up accelerating out of a close and bailing, I bailed too, though catching up to the car before it crashed into a house

17.01.2022 "BlackVue user (who prefers to remain anonymous) sent us the video captured by his BlackVue DR750S-2CH dashcam. He was driving, coming up to a roundabout. A 4WD vehicle coming from the opposite direction came around the corner turning toward the BlackVue user's car and... suddenly ran off the road and UP the side of a tree! This unfortunately ended in the car rolling onto its side. BlackVue user immediately stopped his car and helped the other driver get out of their vehicle. Luckily, no one was hurt, despite the accident looking quite serious!"

11.01.2022 JIMBOOMBA | A man has been arrested after allegedly stealing a grocery delivery truck and driving dangerously through Jimboomba this morning. It will be alleged..., around 5:20pm yesterday afternoon (March 12) a man stole a five tonne Hino Pantec delivery truck from Anakie Drive in Cornubia. At 8:00pm, police observed the truck travelling along the Mount Lindsay Highway towards Jimboomba. It will be further alleged the man drove the truck on the curb and along the footpath then through bushland and gardens to evade police. The truck was also observed driving erratically on the incorrect side of the road. Officers were attempting to overtake the truck on Undullah Road, when the driver actively swerved the truck towards the marked police car causing damage to it. The driver then stopped the truck and on two occasions he reversed the truck into another marked police car, causing extensive damage to a second police vehicle. At 8:30pm, police successfully intercepted the truck on Cusack Lane, where the driver was taken in custody. A 29-year-old Loganlea man has been charged with four counts of wilful damage of police property and one count each of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, unlawful use of a motor vehicle, driving of a motor vehicle without a drivers licence and fail to dispose of syringe. He is due to appear in the Beenleigh Magistrates Court today (March 13). : QLDNews Contributor.
