14.01.2022 Hi All, A position for an additional Douglas Scorer for the Riverina Branch is on offer. Ted Wholers (ADA Chief Measurer) will be in Wagga to run a seminar on the 17th & 18th November.... Venue is at my place, (Murray Cod Hatchery entrance) There will be others that are traveling from Sydney and the ACT. There are some requirements involved to become a ADA accredited measure, so if you are interested give me a call for more details. (0407 924 158) We only have been offered one position. The Branch currently has three accredited measurers, Neil Cole, Steve Glover and myself. Regards Warren & Julie
14.01.2022 Rod Drew was one of those people, who most hunters never heard of, who dedicate their lives fighting to keep our legal access to the hunting and shooting sports. There are relatively few of them but if it was not for their hard work and dedication the fight would have been lost long ago. They need the support of strong organisations behind them to do what they do. That is why it is important to maintain your membership of an organisation like ADA. RIP Rod.

06.01.2022 10 members spent a couple of days in Maragle North State Forest near Tumbarumba last weekend for what will most likely be our last branch hunt for 2020. A number of fallow deer and plenty of brumbies were sited with Lindsay Hilton, Shane Rinaldo, Brad & Rhys Maynard each taking an eater for the family freezer. It was a special weekend for the Maynard father and son team as both took their first deer, a memory they will always treasure. It was a great weekend with a good mix of older and newer members, hopefully 2021 will be a better year in which we can have more camps like this one. Pictured is a very happy Rhys with his first deer.
04.01.2022 Hunters enjoying time in the bush is not always just about hunting. Branch member Ada Stoll took the following photos of a pair of wedgetail eagles and there chicks near Griffith. We will try and bring you more photos over the next few weeks as they grow and prepare for their first flight.
03.01.2022 Hunters are a valuable part of the community. A great initiative of our Upper Goulburn Branch, fifteen of these signs have gone up in the Murrindindi shire at the entrances to Kinglake, Yea , Marysville, Eildon & Alexandra.
03.01.2022 These things normally happen at this time of the year because it’s the drier months where normally food and water is scarce so the animals move long distances and into communities in search of food,
