With this year’s theme, we are urging all young people to think about how tobacco use today can impact them later in life including their smiles! Oral health implications linked to tobacco use include gum disease, teeth staining, delayed healing, bad breath and oral cancer. If you are thinking about quitting, call Quitline for a free, confidential chat on 13 78 48 or visit www.quitlinesa.org.au for more information. World No Tobacco Day is the perfect time to start.

08.01.2022 COVID-19 UPDATE - SA ONLY Yesterday the State Government announced that South Australia will go into a six-day lockdown effective from 12.01AM Thursday, 19 November 2020 in response to the latest outbreak of COVID-19. As a result of these stringent but necessary measures, we have made significant changes to our services for our South Australian Mobile Dental teams.... The Australian Dental Association SA Branch has recommended Level 5 Dental Service Restrictions be implemented in line with the above date, meaning no patients can be seen outside of the authorised public system. To prevent any further spread of the virus, please be advised that, as of 19 November 12.01AM, our South Australian onsite dental services will be closed for dental treatment until Wednesday, 25 November 2020. Our Victorian operations remain as per normal schedule. However, should you or a family member suffer from a dental emergency during this six-day lockdown, we are still here to help. Please give us a call during business hours on (08) 7226 1709 or after hours on 0437 733 350 for assistance and further advice on whether a treatment referral can be provided to the Adelaide Dental Hospital or Royal Adelaide Hospital for dental emergencies only. Please bear with us at this time as we do our best to contact sites, patients and/or guardians who have upcoming scheduled appointments. We will be in touch as soon as possible to reschedule your appointments. We will continue to monitor and adhere to any future changes enforced by National and State Government authorities. Take care and stay safe.
