13.01.2022 There’s something I really dig about walking through a bone yard. They’re generally pretty quiet, not a lot of action going on. Which is kind of ironic when you consider what these machines use to get up to when they were employed I’m unsure wether it’s thinking about the backstory of each disbanded asset that no doubt, when it rolled on to it’s first job all shiny and new, it would have been a big deal. 13.01.2022 Tinaja Hills Learning And Demonstration Centre So the Facebook machine tells me that it's been 6 years since I got to hang out for a couple of weeks at one of the few iconic @CaterpillarInc training facilities litered around the globe The reason I was at Tinaja was to learn the MT5300 (later to be re-badged as the 794AC) Electric Drive Truck. While I was there, my boss at the time thought it would be good idea if I got certified on a bunch of other machines too, happy day...s Another bonus of the trip was taking in one their legendary product demonstrations put on for a legion of Mecican Customers and Dealers. Everything from a skidsteer to a 994 was trotted outed out during the demo.
