25.01.2022 At the annual Rotary Club of Liverpool West President Changeover function two AHHA volunteers were recognised for their contributions to improve the lives of those in need. These recipients of a Paul Harris Fellow (PHF) are Dr Troy Lim Joon and Mr Peter Kandasamy. The PHF is a prestigious Rotary recognition of humanitarian work by individuals and each recognition contributes US$1000.00 to the humanitarian and educational programs supported by the Rotary Foundation. Congratulations to both Troy and Peter.

24.01.2022 An Australian Rotary Health GOLD COMPANION is a prestigious Rotary recognition of humanitarian work for individuals or groups. With the presentation of a Gold Companion, a contribution of $10,000.00 is contributed to ARH to continue their work to improve the health and wellbeing of all Australians. At a President Changeover function of the Rotary Club of Liverpool West, a Gold Companion was presented to the AHHA Ophthalmic Theatre Nurses in recognition of their professional skills, attitude and sacrifice to help those in need. All nurses who have travelled and worked with AHHA are recognised by this presentation and Congratulations to ALL of you!!

24.01.2022 On 5 May 2020, AHHA donated 1,000 surgical masks and 750 face shields to Bankstown Hospital in NSW. Bankstown Hospital is a principal referral hospital with tertiary affiliations to the University of New South Wales, University of Sydney and Western Sydney University providing a wide range of general medical and surgical services and sub-specialty services to the Bankstown/Canterbury community.

22.01.2022 On 28/4/2020 AHHA donated 2,000 face shields to Westmead Hospital which is a major teaching, research hospital and manages a large significant number of COVID-19 cases.

21.01.2022 AHHA School Building Project 2020 Continuing our charity work both in Australia and abroad. AHHA is fundraising to build a new primary school to educate poor & displaced children for a brighter future, in the remote Chhnok Tru village of Kampong Chhnang, Cambodia. The current old and dilapidated school building was relocated from the Tonle Sap lake (Bien Ho) onto land, (it was basically dragged out of the water & placed on dry land supported by wooden poles).... This area of the land is often affected by flood water and this caused further damage the old school building. In conjunction with the Rotary Liverpool West, AHHA Management Committee has decided to provide financial support for this building project. The new school building will be situated on higher grounds to avoid flooding. The project is scheduled to be completed in 2021.
