14.01.2022 We would like to say a huge congratulations to Lewis Moes who achieved his Commercial Helicopter Pilot Licence a few days ago on 18th August 2019. Well done on this great milestone in your career. To make it even more special, this was achieved on World Helicopter Day!

09.01.2022 Meet Jacob! Jacob is one or out ex-students who gained his licence at the end of 2018. He is now working at HeliSpirit's busy Karratha base in the Pilbara, flying passengers over the stunning Dampier Archipelago. Australian Helicopter Academy's training is run from within HeliSpirit, a bustling scenic and charter helicopter flight company based in Kununurra in WA's Kimberley region. Jacob was able to learn under very experienced instructors, as well as being a part of the day to day operations, including the engineering team, 25+ pilots, admin and management, and a fleet of 24 helicopters including Airbus H125 B3 Squirrel, Bell Longranger, Bell 206B Jetranger, Robinson R66, Robinson R44, Robinson R22.

05.01.2022 Students Lewis and Will visited Darwin NT for 4 days with our Instructor Nathan. All of our students make this trip during their training to conduct controlled airspace training and visit the tower too see the daily operations. This area is military run so there definitely wasn’t a dull moment! Lewis had expectations that this may be a bit daunting, but after visiting in person he said it all went well and definitely a worthwhile experience. ... Thanks for the pics Lewis!
