24.01.2022 Much of my success over the past 50 years has come from acting without delay. Don Shula, former coach of the Miami Dolphins, said The start is what stops most... people. Successful people make it a habit to start before they feel ready. They know the more time there is between an idea’s conception and its execution, the more likely it is to stall, fail, or die. I’m not suggesting that you be reckless. You should do some amount of prep work. But then, instead of balking, bet on yourself. Getting it done is better than being perfect. There’s a wonderful payoff for moving an idea into action at the fastest possible speed: You bring more of yourself to the surface. What will you do this week that you have been waiting to be ready for? Go out and do it. Make it a great Monday. #BobProctor
23.01.2022 Jaunt - a startup attending Space Tank's Bench to Business training program has won the attention of The Duke of York's #pitchatpalace competition. Co-founders ...Dave Budge and Marteen Burger will present their pitch at Government House on the 20th of November in front of a room full of state and local government, investors and potential partners. Fingers crossed, if they impress the panel it's on to potentially go all the way to Buckingham Palace!

Philippe Guichard was our guest speaker from D2 which is his own design studio. He spoke about three components for design being Design for Function, Design for business model, and design for market fit. Many other subjects were covered at the meeting, make sure you do not miss October 2nd.
17.01.2022 On the 13th Sept. Minister Dalidakis received a personal tour of the Space Tank manufacturing incubator by founder Holger Dielenberg to experience where the Lau...nchVic funded Bench to Business Training Program takes place. Minister Dalidakis congratulated Space Tank’s achievements while acknowledging that advanced manufacturing is growing in Melbourne. It’s incredibly impressive to see how Space Tank is supporting our young entrepreneurs and product makers. To provide a facility to enable young developers to expand is really exciting. It means that we have an ability to not just talk about our advanced manufacturing capabilities but actually support people as they take on this pathway. Read the full post below.

02.01.2022 A bit of fun with Mad March meeting to see who had the best crazy shirt. Andre Nathan showed us his private inventive tools for fishing, Peter O'Shannessy talked to us about changing the focus of inventing to what customers wanted, incorporating value as explained in the Startup Owners Manual and Blue Ocean Strategy, and a group photo of shirt finalists including our new president Ian Watkins.
