This last Monday long weekend the ACT Karen community filled the Cook Community Hall with delicious smells and beautiful food - all prepared under the eyes of the judges and happy and hungry onlookers. It was a wonderful event for all young and old and shows such talent and skill in our Canberra community!

05.01.2022 It is vitally important for our community members to know what we should be prepared before our last breath when living in western society, which is totally different from our tradition... therefore, proudly AKO Qld chapter has organised a very first information session about "WILLS" in collaboration with Multicultural Australia and RAILS (Refugee and Immigration Legal Service) on 18.9.20, for Karen Community in Queensland. It was very informative and participants have expressed they learnt a lot from this information session... Regardless of our level of language skill, knowing and getting the right information is very useful, so you know how to seek help and go when you need it.... Congratulation to AKO Qld Team.
